There are various information views in ARCWAY Cockpit™.

• Requirements describe what a product is required to do, which qualities it is required to have, or which features or qualities are not required or are undesirable.
• Use cases define the interactions between users and the system that must take place in order to achieve a specific functional goal. Use cases always describe one specific workflow or process.
• Project plans show the entire life cycle of a project.
• Issues to be clarified are useful in dealing with problems, comments and other matters.
• Any number of documents can be packaged in containers and attached to the elements of a plan.

There are two ways of using filters in ARCWAY Cockpit™.

Filtering by character string

1. Enter the filter string in the corresponding field.
2. Only the information containing this character string will be displayed.

Filtering by description criteria

1. Select a criterion in the left-hand column.
2. Select the filter value in the right-hand column.

All project information can be linked to global elements.

1. Select an item of project information and drag it to a global element in a plan.

Navigating via global elements in plans

1. Open a plan.
2. Select a global element.
3. All of the linked information will now be displayed in the InfoLink view.

Navigating via information in the InfoLink view

1. Click on an item of linked information in the InfoLink view.
2. All of the global elements that are linked to this item of information will now be highlighted in the plan.

Navigating via project information in the Details view

1. Select an item of project information in the Details view.
2. The linked global elements will now be highlighted in the plan.
